Free PDF Creator Program Installation Instructions
In a couple easy steps you will install a free PDF creator program. The program creates a printer. All you have to do is open up your document and print to the PDFCreator printer to create your own PDF documents. Note: If your original document has hyperlinks, the hyperlinks are not created in the pdf file. Get started by going to http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/. Click the "Download PDFCreator" icon. On the next page, scroll down to the Latest File Releases section. On the PDFCreator line, click the Download link on the right as shown below:
On the next page click the PDFCreator-x_x_x_AFPLGhostscript.exe link where xxx is the latest version number. Make sure you download the AFPL version and not the GPL version. On the next page select a download location close to you. Save the file to a folder you will be able to locate later on. After the download is completed, find the file you just downloaded and double click the PDFCreator-x_x_x_AFPLGhostscript.exe file, choose your language and click OK. Click Next, place a bullet to accept the agreement and click Next 4 or 5 times until you are at the following window:
Uncheck the box labeled Create a desktop icon and click Next 2 times. Wait for the installation to complete and click the Finish button. Go into Start->Settings->Printers and Faxes or Start->Printers and Faxes. Right click your main printer and reset it to be the Default printer. That's it you're finished. Now just print anything that is printable to the PDFCreator printer and you'll get the following dialogue window:
Give the PDF file a name on the Document Title line, then click the Save or eMail button. If you leave the checkmark in the After Saving... box and save the file, then Adobe Acrobat Reader will launch and show you the newly created PDF file. You Are visitor number
